I have been a practicing physical therapist for over two decades and have worked in Montgomery County for the last 17 years moving my practice to Friendship Heights, DC in December 2019. I graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 1997 and completed my Doctoral studies at the University of Southern California in 2001. I completed my Manual Therapy Certification through Orthopedic Manual Therapy Seminars in Virginia during my time working at the University of Virginia in 2004. I was named Clinical Instructor of the Year in 2010 by George Washington University for my excellence in clinical instruction of rising doctoral candidates. I have been practicing Dry Needling since 2010 and became certified through the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia in 2019 by Myopain Seminars. 

 I specialize in temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ/TMD), chronic pain, migraines, headaches, Joint Hypermobility Syndrome, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, postural orthostatic hypotension (POTS), whiplash and a wide variety of spine related issues. I particularly enjoy treating, the stressed out Mom and all the aches and pains that come from Mom-ing, Wife-ing and Life-ing. I also enjoy providing resources for different stress management strategies and lifestyle changes that can benefit my patients during the healing process and beyond through my work as a Health & Wellness Coach. Beth Anne O’Donoghue, MPT

Beth Anne received her Masters of Physical Therapy from Emory University in 1995. She has been practicing orthopedic physical therapy in the Washington, DC area since. She has continued her education through conferences, course work, group study and volunteering on the medical team for several local athletic events.

Beth Anne treats all general orthopedic conditions and has interest in shoulder, knee and ankle dysfunction. She has a treatment approach that includes: Evaluation, manual (hands on) work, exercise and functional training to return to sports or activities. She
emphasizes home program development and self care techniques as an adjunct to Physical Therapy. She uses many types of Manual Physical Therapy techniques to develop each patient’s program including: Maitland, Strain CounterStrain, Muscle Energy, Principles of Manual Medicine and Paris Techniques. Beth Anne is also Titleist Performance Institute Certified Level 1 for Golf.
